Staff of education facilities may find themselves dealing with aggressive behaviour between students, students engaging in drug use, emotional students / parents / caregivers, students with mental health issues. CERT’s training will provide education staff with the knowledge and skills to enable them to safely, effectively and professionally deal with these increasingly challenging situations, students and families/whanau. Our tactical communications training will assist them to be more effective communicators generally – which will make them more effective educators. We also provide risk assessment, policy and operating procedure development and training for staff and students to assist schools and educational institutions to prepare for extreme events such as shootings and lock downs.
