Craig Gilbert

Craig Gilbert joins CERT after a 21 year career in the NZ Police which included roles as a Detective, Sergeant, Armed Offenders Squad member, Child Protection Team member, leadership mentor, safety trainer and front counter safety assessor.  

Combine this with a background in hospitality and customer service and you get a wealth of experience in conflict resolution and safety management that ranges from dealing with disgruntled or intoxicated customers to high risk armed offenders intent on causing harm. Craig is able to help maximise the safety of your peoople and mitigate safety breaches before they even occur.  

His skills in incident management, investigation and leadership have been honed by many years exposure at the coal face.  His proven background can assist your organisation to develop these skills in your people and improve team dynamics.  

Craig’s knowledge, enthusiasm and adult education skillsenable him to deliver real and relevant training to actively engage participants.
