Situational Safety and Tactical Communications Compliance and Investigation Skills | Situational Safety and Tactical CommunicationsMost inter-personal conflicts are the result of poor communication and ineffective situational management. Conflicts can lead to threats to personnel safety, physical aggression and violence and failing to achieve the objectives of an interaction. Conflict can arise in any situation - while this course was developed to assist those primarily in compliance roles, we've adapted it for anyone working with the public, from enforcement officers, to animal control and parking officers, to health care workers and librarians. Our Situational Safety and Tactical Communications course will be customised to your requirements to ensure your employees stay safe, maximise their effectiveness and avoid potential conflict. Benefits for your organisation
Who’s this training for?Tactical communications training is essential for employees who are working with the public, especially those required to enforce rules, regulations or laws. But also for anyone who has to deal with difficult people in their professional lives. On a larger scale, tactical communications training can benefit everyone in your organisation. Enhanced inter-personal skills assist both internal culture and external relationships. What does the training cover?By improving general communication skills, our tactical communications training teaches staff how to gain improved cooperation from subjects under all circumstances. It also teaches them to manage difficult and/or uncooperative subjects using proven techniques that maximise the opportunity for a positive outcome. The situational safety aspects of the training teaches participants how to assess, plan and implement proven situational management techniques. The staff member’s mental preparation, planning, approach and ongoing management of the interaction all contribute to the subject’s perception, subsequent responses and ultimate outcome. Many of the safety techniques taught during our training are quite subtle, to the point that the subject will probably not be aware that the staff member is employing them. For example, the ‘interview’ stance is specifically designed to provide the staff member with a tactical advantage when making contact with a subject. But it looks perfectly natural and is not likely to arouse any fear or suspicion.
